My past experience on which to build the future
I have defined a territorial sport plan including access to sport for all (the «Sweat and Chill Fridays» event, the installation of health trails, the development of sports for women and launched the embellishment of several sports infrastructure (murals, «Wall of Fame» operation).
I have chosen to introduce young people to the working fiels, as well as to encourage them to take part in the development of the island, and to reward their success by continuing operations such as «Vacation Jobs, Youth Territorial Council, Stylo d’août, Graduation Ceremony»... I have Ioptimized the financing of the youth operations department.
I have stimulated the associative life by focusing on rewarding the volunteers and rethinking the grant allocation model to ensure equity between all actors. I have set up information workshops to support project initiators.
I have
celebrated our cultural heritage
through popular events and new projects such as «Faces of Saint Martin» and «SXM Smile Again». I wanted to
preserve our historical heritage
by revising of the emancipation day celebration, the Treaty of Concordia and the Saint Martin’s Day festivities.
I have implemented a global communication and marketing strategy, supported by renowned representation agencies in every market (USA, Canada, South America, Europe, Caribbean).
I have launched the new website of the Saint Martin destination and reinforced the visibility on social networks (Facebook and Instagram).
I have developed new actions such as «Staycation», the «Culinary Festival» and «Tourism Awareness» to support, encourage and perpetuate the tourism economy.
I have set up financial and marketing support solutions for the promoters in the associative, artistic, sporting and cultural sectors who are involved, animate and make Saint-Martin shine, thus contributing to the attractiveness of the destination.
